When Do You Need an Integrated Power System?

Many projects start with a few power supplies and quickly grow into full cabinets, racks and test stations. An integrated power system makes sense when your project looks like this:
UL or CE requirements, EMC pre-compliance and wiring documentation must be consistent across builds and sites.
Multiple DIN-rail or modular power supplies, protection devices and 24 V control power must fit into one industrial cabinet or rack.
Your team prefers to focus on the application, while a partner takes care of power system solutions, cabinet wiring and test integration.
Channels, safety circuits and DC bus architecture have to work together for reliable battery testing and ageing.

How We Work With You on Integration Projects

Step1: Define requirements and standards
We review your application, load and DUT, power ranges, target standards (UL, CE, EMC) and project schedule, and agree on what the integrated power system must achieve.
Step2: Select the power platform
Based on your needs, we select suitable TPS DIN-rail, programmable and bidirectional power supplies or integrated power modules as the core building blocks of the system.
Step3: Design and build the cabinet or rack
TPS prepares the electrical design, wiring diagrams and Bill of Materials, then assembles and wires the cabinet or rack, including labels and documentation for service and compliance checks.
Step4: Validate, optimize and hand over
We perform functional checks and, where needed, EMC and safety pre-compliance tests. After adjustments, we hand over a documented integrated power system that is ready for installation at your site.

Do you only integrate systems using TPS power supplies and modules?

In most projects, TPS power supplies and modules form the core of the integrated power system so that we can guarantee performance and long-term support. If you need to reuse existing components, we can evaluate them on a case-by-case basis.

What is the minimum project size for your integration solutions?

Typical projects start from a single custom cabinet or test bench and scale up to multi-rack battery test systems. For very small changes, it may be more efficient to purchase components only and use our design guidance instead of a full integration project.

Can TPS support UL / CE compliance for complete cabinets or test systems?

We help you design with UL- and CE-ready components, and use our EMC and safety lab for pre-compliance testing. Final certification and official reports are always issued by accredited third-party labs, and we can coordinate this process together with you.

Do you provide software integration as well as hardware?

Yes. For selected projects we can support basic PLC programming or PC-based test software integration, so that power hardware, measurement equipment and automation work together as one system.
